How to create a detailed prompt easily

Get better AI results in under a minute.

Short prompts give weak results. A line like make me look good leaves too much to guess, so the AI fills in the blanks with plain choices. A detailed prompt says exactly what you want. You get a sharper result on the first try.

You do not need to learn prompt engineering. There is one simple method that works for photos, websites, ads, logos and more. State the goal, describe the subject, set the style, and add limits. That is the whole trick.

The easy way in 3 steps

  1. Pick your use case page. Start at a PromptConstructor generator, for example the portrait editing prompt generator or the landing page prompt generator.
  2. Tap your choices. Work through the short steps and skip what you do not need. Each tap adds one clear detail to your prompt.
  3. Copy and paste. Copy the finished prompt and paste it into ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Suno or your AI photo app.

What every good prompt includes

A strong prompt always states the goal first. It says what the result is for and what the viewer should do or feel. Then it describes the subject in plain words: who or what it is, and what matters most about it.

Next comes style. Name the look, the colors and the light in short phrases. Last, add limits that protect quality: keep the same face, keep text short, keep colors flat. Limits stop the AI from making common mistakes.

Example you can copy

Transform the woman from the input photo into a clean professional headshot portrait, keeping the exact same face. Framing head and shoulders, shot at eye level. Soft smile, direct eye contact. Soft studio light, plain light background, photorealistic, sharp focus.

Mistakes to avoid

  1. Too short. Add the goal, the subject, the style and one limit at least.
  2. Vague words. Swap nice and good for exact words like soft daylight or bold black letters.
